On Topic: It's Arjun who needs coaching in what is Dhal Chawal. Malaika obviously likes him and she is Diamond Quinoa not Dhal Chaval

I was just joking buddy , why so serious 😳

I used to root for arjun when he debuted given how shitty his dad was and how much his family suffered. He seemed like a real decent guy. But now you realise that not only is he a mostly bad actor but his attitude is just weird

According to the forum, Multiplex people only go see Urban films of Saif Ali Khan. 😆 Honestly, people enjoy lot of things. Why are we so harsh on others to like something we don;t? like move on.

Dal chawal is commo idiom in HINDI to mean common people who don't like anything fancy. Bollywood is hindi language industry (atleast when it remembers). Jesus. Some comments here make me wonder.

Ask distributor who sells his movie who these dal chawal people are they will likely tell you with statistics. 😆

Well, hum Southies even the diaspora irrespective of nationality love our rasam rice, gold and diamonds ! 😛 . I am yet to go to a Southie home in India and the US where rasam is not made everyday and if the person is living alone, one of the few things they know to make is rasam and rice in the rice cooker even the betas. 😆. You know how to make rasam and rice you won't starve.

I have never heard "daal chawal" as an idiom. And my hindi is fairly decent.

unless it is something very very specific to bombay ...though I even googled 😆 ... but nothing came up

Aiyoo, Dal chawaal doesn't mean food. It means people who like basic, not trimmings.

I love Rasam, rice papad, rice and potato sabzi. Next day my friendship with weighing scale gets completely broken. It is very fragile friendship. 😆
