I have not seen either of these two movies, and I heard a lot of controversies from the good to the bad and the ugly. And I need your genuine opinions on these two films?

Though the movie is predictable kaabil is a nice watch...its inspiring and says not to take blinds as granted...they are equally capable of taking revenge if someone messes up with them..

Raees is forgettable...

Both are average movies in terms of quality.

Kaabil is thriller but I felt it was a bit phainkoo...with a six pack greek andha doing all sorts of fights. Urvashi rutela song was nice in between

Raees typical gangster with a good heart story..maine bura kiya..par main bura nahi hun type crap

I dont think anyone neutral can put one over the other. Run of the mill stuff

Kaabil is good to watch and not a single dull moment.
Raees is a bad movie. Better not to watch.

Its a bad idea to ask people over here.
watch and judge by ur own. if you think its bad then there is no repeat value.

You probably not going to put ur money and choosing for 'watch online' that will just consume little bit of your data and 5 hours of ur time.

think those 5 hours are time past.

for me if i don't want to watch, i don't watch forever. 😆

Unless I'm in the mood, I honestly can't deal with dark and gloomy films. Raees and Kaabil both had a really dreary atmosphere but I found Kaabil in particular to be down right disturbing. I guess even the mere insinuation of sexual violence leaves me super distressed. I didn't end up finishing it. That's why my biggest accomplishment till date is probably making it through all of Talvar. I mean I was definitely left scarred and traumatized after watching it but hey, at least I finished it right?😆

Raaes: An entertaining masala movie reminiscent of the 90s and 80s gangster movies. Not anything great ,but was a fun movie to watch. Acting was very good from the cast. Weak point: Mahira was not up to the mark, and I wished the story used the ability of SRK's excellence when he is pure evil. Because pure evil SRK is much charismatic, while still an well acted character, I just hoped SRK to be the villain and the anti-hero they tried to portray in the lines of AB Sr's 80s gangster classics.
Kaabil: Rode on the brilliant acting from the cast, especially Hrithik and the Roy brothers. Movie was nothing special but the setting was good.Problems with the movie: The character of Yami was not build enough for us audience to feel really bad about her dead. Obviously you will feel bad for a girl who has her dignity taken away in the cruelest of the manner, but the outrage an audience should feel was not up to the level of say when Asin's Kalpana died in Ghajini. Because we never loved Yami's Supriya like we loved Kalpana. It is not Yami's fault but since this is a HR's movie the focus on Yami's character was sidelined because of focusing more on his Rohan. Not a bad thing, but it is just one thing I would have corrected so the movie would have been better received by the audience.
