I don't know what the budget for Kill Dill was but I can 100% say it was much lower than BM, DDD, Befikre - the film didn't become a hit. Lesser budget doesn't guarantee a film to be a hit.

These aren't arguments to invalidate Varun's success. Kyu karna big budget/big director ke saath kaam when what he's doing is working for him. I just don't get it. 😆 People have testified time and again that offers dry up once a movie flops. The opposite case would be that offers come through once a movie is a success so isme bhi Varun ka fayda hai and his line up is shaping up to be pretty good 😳

But I suppose people have to find a counter-response. Karne do 😆

WWhy ranveer is so overhyped then. Ranbhir no report is better than in him.

VD is like Govinda, very famous during peak time (Govonda was more versatile) but now Aa gaya hero nobody wants to watch. Other 2 will be like Khans. Khans also gave flops, disasters, hits mixtures and see they are still being watched and are successful. RSRK will be remembered for their roles.

I designed the time machine. Sorry I cannot share it with you since you will also start seeing future like me.
Varun acts very well but if sticks to only comedy then he can't go long. He needs to become versatile and take risks. Playing safe helps only for few years.

Badlapur,Bkd,abcd2,sort are not comedy film...tell me ranveer risky role except bajirao or lootera...And akshay,salman didn't experiment much when they begin their career,it is now that they started experimenting..And varun still have film like sircar shoojit's next and shiddat which are risky couple with badlapur he has already done...people continue to underate and underestimate that is why he more successful and he will continue to be a success though he will later has flops

If one considers first 8 films then Varun is ahead of Khans as well in terms of flop/hit ratio.

And the source of all this data is BOI, it isn't even credible

I like all the 3 so no comment on who is bigger.

What Varun now need is Pan India big budget movie which appeals to all section of society. He is ready. It is bit different than what he is doing so far. He needs to be presented as star, not a character. Once that happens he will have arrived. Right now he is humpty, badri... He is not Varun. People should say Varun ki movie hai not Badri is a good movie yaar. Get the difference.

Flops are just phase. What remains is if the name has pull. RS and Varun need someone to help them. RS and Adi Befikre is a bigger disaster than Bombay Velvet disaster. BV was small director's big movie. Befikre was big director's movie. Adi/KJo's movie make super star out of star...

I actually find Varun's strategy intelligent coz now that he has done pan India films they are helping him to gain popularity in tricky but loyal mass centres...then eventually he can jump into content and balance out things for himself...and he's doing it after J2 he has Shoojit sircar's next & Shiddat lined up.
