i like 3 of them but lets accept the fact that sonu nigam is the most versatile singer out of these names..Udit and kumar sanu were limited in their range they sang similar kind of songs especially kumar sanu was kind of monotonous with nadeem sharavan kind of songs with mid scale songs.

Sonu had the most melodious voice full of expressions

cant imagine anyone else singing this song with such depth of feelings and that hi range "Ab dil jaaga hosh main chahat ab aye".

i guess he is only singer of 90's who have sang the 90's kind of songs and the modren kind of songs which are very westren very today like halka halka from raees its today style of singing with which he rendered that

why purnima didnt made it big in bollywood i got remember one song of her with sonu nigam it was very funky and govinda was too great in the film...laxhmikant pyarelal made such kind of songs too 😃

memories with sona kitna sona hai ...yeah but she wasnt popular at all like alka yagnik , anuradha paudwal even sadhna sargam was doing great
