^She could have just talked about herself but she framed it in such a way that she was clearly taking shots at other people who do things differently. As if she's done some grand thing in life by popping out a kid and sitting at home when she doesn't do any housewife-type work anyway.
I'm sure she also goes out and has lunches with friends and all that. Mothers are also human and need their own time sometimes that's not completely taken over by their child. It's just that she's a nobody and photographers aren't going to take pics of her the way they do with Kareena.
And if she needs to take sly digs at Kareena, it says more about her than anyone else (and none of it is good). There's nothing worse than self-righteous mothers who think nobody has ever raised kids before them when millions do it everyday.
I agree with what you're trying to say. It did sound wrong they way she said it. I thought she was better then that. But I was wrong.
But I kinda understand her mentality(not in a bad way). I have some rich, privileged friends who have the same thinking as Mira. Even they go on about being house wife with their baby. And how they would never work and leave their baby. For normal people it sounds kinda mean. But for these rich kids, it doesn't sound mean.. cause they never had to worry about work or money. How are they suppose to understand the plight of normal middle class people if they've never experienced it. So trying to hope that the rich will understand the life of a normal person is foolishness. I've learned that a long ago.
yea, Mira must go out she's a high society girl anyways. She's always clicked with Shahid at some restaurant every week. Plus she's got a big girl group in Mumbai. She's prolly got 2-3 nannies to take care of her baby. this statement was nothing more then a jealousy dig.. Even on KWK I could tell she doesn't like any of shahids ex. And him having an EX as famous as Kareena must make her uber jealous.
But I do disagree with what you said about giving birth not being a grand thing. C'mon... giving birth to a baby is a huge deal. I mean you're giving birth to a life. holding your baby for the first tim after carrying them for 9 month. That must be a whole different experience all together. And what New mother doesn't gloat about their baby. First time mommies are always looking for a way to talk about their experience and baby. I would know.. I've rolled my eyes at a few of them. lol
