I agree with some aspects of her views on feminism. Feminism is an unfortunately misunderstood term. It has always been about equality. And equality means not putting anyone down.
I am a bit skeptical about her comments on male bashing and using feminism per convenience. These things can be interpretive. Sometimes criticising patriarchy and misogyny is often misinterpreted as male bashing. There is a difference. Sometimes people are blind to existing inequalities that when a woman fights for fairness they perceive it as a battle of convenience.I am also curious why many people are dissing Deepika, Kangana or Sonam. I don't think they have ever said feminism was something other than equality. They have never encouraged biases against men. Why do people have a problem with them? Is it because they are sex positive? Is it because they are very vocal and outspoken? Is it because they do not hesitate to call people out? Funny how feminism is only acceptable when it is restrained. If it is in your face and assertive, then its not real feminism.
