They have given Flops recently or in past... YES, Their fees for next film should be reduced.

Producers / Distributors should consider their failures, no one will expect less for them also.

Bad phase / low time sabka aata hai... if Star comes out of it & deliver DOUBLE / TRIPPLE, then it make sense to pay more.

Industry doesn't work that way, their loss... MD made huge loss, BV loss... They should learn & Make star realize that FRIDAY Release HIT status matters.

Ismein MALE / FEMALE ki koi baat nahi... HIT Nahi de sakte, don't ask for more.

YES it's absolutely fine,.. infact MOST actresses should be paid similar to the male actors barring Salman and Amir. Besides its the SCRIPT that makes the film a HIT and then the performances on top. And again with exception of Salman and Amir because they already have the star power to pull audience. And who watched Vishal Bhardwaj movies in theatre anyway thr so dark and serious. Its the high on comedy, romance and entertainment tht ends up being hit even if performances arnt the greatest

I think it is generally believed that the male actors have a fanbase that comes to watch the movie because of them. Kangana challenged that pretty openly. It seems she got more than her costars?? The film is going to flop so that does make her claim seem false now. That's the reality. If you sort of take up a challenge and don't deliver, it makes your case weak.

I also feel that you can decide somebody's star power more when they star opposite to a new face or somebody relatively less popular and if the film still is successful then you can say you have a strong fanbase. Kangana did have TWMR which got a great BO run and I think Queen too. But, you cannot bank upon their success alone, she will have to consistently perform well to be in a position to demand more. I don't think it is fair but that's the reality. The general idea is that the male lead's fans get attracted to a movie, if she wants to prove that wrong then she needs her films to do well. Otherwise, it is no point.

I don't know but I don't see the kind of craze people have for Ranbir and Hrithik in her case.

But I don't think anybody will refuse to pay an actress more, whether her or someone else, just because they are females. If their films are hits, then they will become an asset for every film they star in and they will get paid more. But they can't get paid more or equal just so that it doesn't look sexist. THAT will be sexist.
