I would support it if it gave me the freedom to somehow still practise the shariah law meant for me as a Muslim. We are a democracy and a free society and my freedom lies in following my religion

1. India is a multicultural society where everyone thrives in their own way . Now to properly govern them legislature must make laws which should be binding for all and judiciary must be able to implement it . If tnere are separate laws for everyone then a situation for chaos might arise.

2. Today in this age where women empowerment is an important issue , sharia laws have become archaic and are being used to spread propaganda and belittlemen tof fairer sex . Hence it needs to be amended , thus UCC

3. Every religion is equal according to Indian constitution and hence for same crime a hindu person being given separate punishment from a muslim seems a joke .

4. Muslims in India have long been poor in India and one of the reasons is lack of muslim subnationalism in general , hence UCC will help overcome that.

Overall UCC will make India a better India and yes celebs should speak up in favor of it like ex MP javed akhtar did 👏

i believe modiji will be back in 2019 if UCC comes to existence.

For 2024 I've heard either Amit shah or yogi adityanath will take the centre stage.lol

Can't wait till modiji hands over power to even more deserving people..

if modiji didn't bring UCC the other two will definitely do it.

There is nothing wrong with a uniform civil code. Most countries already have that. You cannot have different rules for different people based on religion. Good that India is moving towards that.

The whole point of secularism is that everyone is treated the same and it's good that India is finally recognizing that.
