This had happened with this actor and it's happening with him once again. After a slow start to his career, he suddenly started delivering successful films and thus started demanding hefty sums as remuneration.

Now, in the movie business, they say it's not the content but budget that fails. And that's exactly what's happening with his movies due to this actor's demands.

Some time ago, this actor started delivering failures, left right and centre! In fact, he was almost out of the running in the industry but then he featured in a film which was a moderate success. Although the film had multiple actors, this actor believed that it was his presence in the film that made it a money spinner! No wonder, he started demanding hefty sums as his remuneration and now producers are running away from him!

Was ADHM a 'moderate success'? I thought it did very well considering it clashed with a big budget, much-hyped film like Shivaay.

ADHM was not a hit. Budget was 98cr (Including P&A). Aamir Khan recently said.. you can call your movie a success if it makes at least 15% profit. Uss hisab se movie needed to make 226cr Nett worldwide, but it made 161 cr Nett (230cr Gross) worldwide.

Don't get fooled by the clash thing... You got a B due to disturbance in your examination hall.. it's still a B. Your employers are not gonna check whether someone phodoed phuski bomb in the examination hall.

It's someone with long career, could be John Abhram, his last movie was Dishoom, a moderate success and multi starer as well.

Abhishek Bachchan? His last was houseful 3 i guess?
But then if this blind was about him, then they would have given references of AB & Aish too & moreover AB Jr doesn't seems that foolish to think himself better than Akshay that too in comedy...so...

Next option i could think of...is Anil K...DDD.
