Yaaa vancity represent! Vancouver is deff nice. The surrounding nature is the best! I honestly think it's the best thing about Vancouver. Ppl can be hit or miss LOL.

LOL I've never been beyond BC + AB. My family was going to be a cross-canada trip to see the Niagara Falls but it got postponed and later shelved. have you ever been there? I've haerd its really a sight to behold!

Yup Toronto is considered a metropolitan city here but Vancouver is also consistently rated at the top. Think of Toronto as New York City. People around here are pretty great as well. Niagara Falls is nice and you should definitely see it. Honeymoon capital of the world lol. I myself have been there many times. It's just over an hour away, depending on traffic a little longer.

@bold -- LOL what do you mean? Do you mean technically? Because then policy is shaped generally by the parties and it then presented to congress (both House+Senate) who discuss it (sometimes even come up w/ their own distinct versions of the same bill LOL) which is then attempted to be combined and then given to vote.

Usually, the party that holds the majority is able to get most of their agenda passed and the president just signs bill in law. Regarding Trump as his executive orders, EO are a way of by-passing the time wasted by Senate/House and for the pres to do what he wants w/ discretionary powers, not explicity outlined in constitution but still w/ the effect of it. Generally not used by presidents exessively b/c seen as anti-democratic. Fun fact: Trump actually actively demonized Obama for using EO and then ended up issues a host of EO within his first few days of presidency -- ironic fool.

As for how they make policy, well a lot of these people are religious oriented. Like India, US politics is very religion oriented and the US is itself a religious country, it's not a secular country. In fact they say first hand, "in god we trust." and so when it comes to these laws, their hermeneutics becomes flawed and they enact them (GOP mainly, Dems, although they are pretty right-wing themselves, are a bit more liberal).

So when it comes to stuff like abortion laws, they believe that life forms at conception and think its a sin for anyone to abort and then believe that their beliefs need to be extended to everyone in the country b/c it's a "nation of god.' sexism and racism also plays a really, really, REALLY large part in this process through a process of systematic oppression and patriarchalism. That said, not all GOP ppl are evil.

Vacouver is always said to be a great city & I asked you pages ago Umz- How's Winnipeg? Vancouver & Toronto look like great metro cities while Montreal & Quebec look like great historical cities to live in, totally fitting seeing how French they are & I believe the French people there too, as in Paris, are super-snooty & the women are super-chicly dressed!!

I strongly feel she's besotted by varun (y I donno) he kinda leads her during promotions n then shuns/alienates her which is cruel in my opinion and also desperately he keeps pairing up sid n her (kinda to remind her to back off) they have this very weird thing going on.

I am not sure about Sid-Alia it all looks pr driven to me. But this kwk episode I found her to be genuinely sweet about sid. So maybe it's a pr turned fling.

Hahah I love love love Chanel. Their espadrilles are my weakness and the bags of course😆. Since it will be a pakistani wedding I'll want to wear Pakistani designers. The ones I really want to wear for the baraat is Bunto Kazmi, she makes the best traditional ones, and I want red and gold. Then for reception my mind is on Faraz Manan. 😆😆

Others I would like to wear for other events would be, Elan, Misha Lakhani and Sana Safinaz

Someone who isn't pakistani whom I would love to wear is Zuhair Murad!!! Ufff his stuff is just wow. A lot of Pak designers are inspired by him. And Ellie Saab.

T, shush.My mother and keep tells me i have define curves, but i have become fat ,and ruined my body.Kat bod is another level.so, i have right to complain.She is hammering to join Zumba class.

I have lost 5 pounds in 2 weeks by skipping meals.I do not eat rice.I had sugar after 3 weeks. I loathe myself right now
