Box Office: Kaabil & Raees 24th Day Total Collection across India

24 Days Total Collection of Hrithik's Kaabil & SRK's Raees

Three weeks back released highly awaited superstar Shahrukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil have showed excellent performance in the opening week but witnessed abrupt drop afterward and now heading silently across the country, as most of the audience has diverted toward the recently released comedy drama Jolly LLB 2 of superstar Akshay Kumar.

With huge initial buzz, Rahul Dholakia's directorial Raees was released with enormous hype among fans and did the business of 118.36 crores in its first week. Then with abrupt decline, it reported only 16.40 crores in the second week and 2.62 crores in third week. After 3 weeks, total collection of the movie was recorded as 137.38 crores.

While the Sanjay Gupta's directorial also released with immense excitement of fans and registered excellent business of 82.18 crores despite the clash with year's first biggie Raees. With positive word of mouth, it scored little better than the opposite one from next week. It did the business of 17.09 crores in second and 4.31 crores in the third week.

After 3 weeks, total domestic collection of Kaabil was recorded as 103.58 crores. Now both the movies have entered in their fourth week of release and as expected now getting very low response in theaters. On the 4th Friday, Kaabil managed to collect the amount of 0.25 crore* while Raees minted 0.15 crore* opposite to newly released The Ghazi Attack, Running Shaadi, Irada & last week's offering Jolly LLB 2.

Raees Collection 25th Day / 4th Saturday Box Office: Raees, the movie of Shahrukh Khan would be known for its collections. The box office earnings are eventually the last mark to decide the overall performance of a film in Indian industry. There are many factors which affect the earnings of film, and one of the most important parts is the collections from the screens around the country and overseas. When it comes to SRK, there is no better option in India who rules International box office so smoothly.

Raees box office Collection on opening / 1st day was great because of the ongoing buzz, the film faced several challenges but released with a real hype among the masses. Clash with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil was a matter of concern, but it didn't affect the overall BO earnings of the movie much. As its 1st-day gains, the film scored 20.42 crore rupees which were great considering it as a start.

The Thursday was most important for Raees and Kaabil as well. Both films performed exceptionally good on the BO resulting huge figures as earnings from around the country. Marking up 30% growth in the overall earnings on holiday, SRK's film earned 26.30 crores which were great considering the trends. So far, SRK film didn't grow more than 25 crores in the domestic market on the weekend, and 26 crores was an impressive figure.

Friday was the first working day and a challenge as well for Raees collections. The reduction in fares during the night shows helped it to sustain with 13.11 crore rupees collections. Even after earning a real figure of 13 crore rupees, a downfall of 50% in overall earnings observed which is not a great sign.

The movie 4th Day Collections was expected to be better than of other days. The film did take a growth in earnings as in comparison to the Friday. On the fourth day, the film earned 15.61 crore rupees which are great.

Raees collection on 5th day was a challenge. Talkie is needed to score big on the BO to end up the week minting out the production costs. The movie budget was 65 crore rupees, and the film did earn 18.12 crores on Sunday making it a profitable deal by 23 crores in the first weekend itself.

The drop begins from Day 6. The 7th Day box office Collection of Raees continued to average at the box office. Single month end and weekday fall together on the 7th day, low occupancy and average BO response were observed. The film continues to survive with limited growth during the evening shows. Response from Mass centers remains stronger than of Multiplexes. A significant increase has been observed in Uttar Pradesh.

Raees 9th day collection remains quite similar to the 8th day because of ongoing weekdays. With limited growth in multiplexes, the film struggles to touch occupancy of 20% throughout the 2nd week, so far. The 10th took small increase because of the coming weekend. Buzz observed around the primary cities.

Raees Collection on 12th day saw high growth than of odd weekdays. The figure for twelfth day continues to grow with around 25% occupancy in multiplexes. On Saturday (11th Day), the film took the extraterritorial growth of 40% in the multiplexes collecting over 4.2 crore rupees. While the overall earnings for Sunday stay around the mark of 6.1 crore rupees which is great. One of the primary reason behind continued support was the fan following of SRK himself.

Raees Box office collection stays on the lower mark on 13th, 14th and 15th day because of weekdays. The movie is expected to observe growth this weekend.

After the end of 2nd week, the Substantial downfall was seen in Raees collection during the 3rd week which resulted in the limited earnings. The beginning of the 4th week was also not well because of the flopping end of 3rd week. It appears that the week is last for the film in Indian cinemas.

Apart from the earnings in the local market, Raees box office collection also rocked the earnings overseas. The film continues to be the highest grosses in UAE-GCC ranking among the top charts on BoxOffice of USA. For the period of 24 days, Raees overseas collections came to 85 crore Indian rupees which are great considering the size of release. The overall earnings for the first week from the overseas were 45 crore rupees which are great and a big news as well.

So far Raees collection arrived at 146.39 crores from India and 85 crores overseas totaling the earnings to 231.39 crore rupees.
