Just to chip in, the verdicts aren't premature. Generally, BOI estimates verdicts on Monday - depending on the drop. They still wait for a couple of weeks before confirming it.

In the case of these two movies, there's no way they can earn enough from now until the end of their run to ensure any positive changes in the verdict. A few crores plus/minus won't make any difference now.

The way Khans' movies function these days, they have to deliver 150+ crores to attain Hit status. Unless they sell it for a lower price, or it's a low-budget movie, 150 crores is the bare minimum for a Hit movie these days (feat Khans).

Look at PRDP. It's a Hit at 194 crores. So, in that case, if PRDP had grossed as much as HNY or Krrish 3, it'd have been declared as a Semi Hit movie. HNY is a Super Hit movie and Krrish 3 is a Blockbuster (with less net earning than Hit movies like PRDP and BM).

I didn't say sucking up. It's the excuses. I don't feel BOI needs to give any excuses on SRK's behalf. Usually, their articles are more generous towards him. You can read them and judge for yourself.
