And people who are talking about hindu extremists should also try to get some information about the states which are led by 'sickular' parties who are secular because they are doing minority appeasement. The growing resentment about not getting any help from state authorities when it comes to minority initiated riots, not getting any action from police once your houses are demolished, not getting protection from administration you are beaten black and blue ---> ofcourse these people are going to see Sangh Parivaar (I am not talking about BJP mind it) as their saviour . BJP is a party but Sangh has a much bigger and grass root level presence all over India who is sympathizing with these people, helping them building their houses, getting them united, fighting for them..This is reality..I'm sure there are extreme incidents in BJP dominated state..But they are atleast reported. The administration doesn't lodge FIR against journalist but yes it happens in "secular" states.
We always have to analyze both side of the spectrum before coming to conclusion. BJP can be easily portrayed as villain as its color is saffron. But are the green, red, blue, black parties any lesser evil? No...Sometime they are bigger but we often give clean chit them which is dangerous and onus is upon us as well..
