@TooMuch not really safe side! It has happened many times where us SRK fans (including me) have thought of his film doing a huge lifetime number, only to disappoint us. Here is my Kaabil prediction: http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4792408

@fivestars as I wrote in my prediction, the Anand Rai film of SRK (assuming it releases solo on Christmas 2018 and has well-liked, universally appealing content) is SRK's only film that has a chance of entering the 300 crore club!

@LillyBlanc some info about Raees economics from BollyArena:

Raees Budget:

Raees has been made on a budget of approximately 92 crore including P&A. It does not include Shahrukh Khan's remuneration who is the co-producer and will share profits from theatrical revenue. The official announcement regarding budget has not been made.

Raees Economics:

SRK has a deal with Sony TV for satellite rights and Raees is a part of that. As a result of the deal, he will get 55 crore for satellite rights. The music rights have been sold in approximately 15 crore and there will be a further recovery of around 5 crore from other rights.

So for producers, it will only need only around 45 cr from theatrical revenue for recovery and the rest will be profits. However, it should collect over 120 crore to recover the distribution price and to be a box office hit.

Satellite Rights: 55 Cr
Music: 15 Cr
Others: 5 Cr
Overseas: 30 Cr
Distributor Price: 65 Cr
Hit: 125 Cr
Super Hit: 165 Cr

BOI:

Raaes is looking at Sunday collections of 17-17.50 crore nett which will take it to 92 crore nett plus over the five days. It has done good business over the first five days but the trend is average with growth on Sunday being limited though the match was there which may have hit it for around 5%. But even if allowing for that it would not be big Sunday growth. It will be all on the weekday business and the crucial Monday for the film. The good weekend ensures a successful film but its the next 7-10 days which will tell if the film can be a hit. A good performance in North India multiplexes would have taken it to over 100 crore nett in its extended weekend and that is where the shortfall has come as it has done average business there.
