Aamir Khan

How is Aamir able to create some many records? What makes him different from other stars? What is his strength?
Not opened for fan war. Just curious.

There is not one factor but many factors.

(i) Aamir has now a reputation for making great movies, he is a brand now. When people hear about Aamir's movies, people are like, Aamir ki movie hai toh acchi hi hogi. There is a reason why Dhoom despite being an average movie is an ATG and ATBB. That reason is brand Aamir, plus Dhoom itself is a big brand.

Sallu and Akki(on a smaller scale) have now gotten that.


(ii) Christmas release period and that too with free run. This is not a dig, but fact. Free run and Christmas period does help to an extent. No I am in the BOI band wagon that this is the only reason, but it does help. But to earn this you have to be the best and Aamir is the best. Free run and Christmas does not garuntee ATG, but it does garuntee if your movie is really great, it will be a ATG.



(iii) Script Choice, Aamir chooses great scripts and than immerse himself in the role. He looks convincingly like a young college going boy, an alien and an old man does telling the story not only with dailouges and screen play but also his expressions, body language and presentation. Plus he choices scripts that have great WOM and repeat value.

SRK and Salman have a habit of making films with bad acting/plots and relying on their stardom.

Salman and SRK fans may not want to admit it but Salman and SRK do make crap films and expect their stardom to attract audiences. Especially their fans.

In a way that is sad because they expect their fans to watch any garbage just as long as they are in it.

Perfection and dedication which anybody else does not have.

amir has the following advantages:

1.comes once in two years..ppl grow impatient by then.
2.does nt over expose himself by doing intrusive adds
3.does nt give too many interviews n private info out
thus keeping alive the curiosity factor..
4.selecting good scripts n killing it one time instead of
doing multiple stupid meaningless films..

He has convinced people that his films will be paisa vasool. Trust. That's what they have in him.

People trust him. They trust he will do a good film and it will be worth watching
