So its not so surprising that KJo also received extortion threats. SRK offering to take bullets for him is dramatized version 😆 ...but its quite possible that SrK provided protection to him at the premiere.

There was a TV serial on Sony 2-3 yrs ago which showed many of these gangster stories, of underworld threats, Dawood, Abu Salem, all the gangs, ...all real life stories of how they used to extort money from BW people, how they forced actors to perform in Dubai concerts, force producers/directors to hire actors and actresses who were under Dawood's protection, etc

Pallo: I used to watch that show!! It was pretty informative because they had clearly picked all that from reality!! Gave me the heebie-jeebies to see this Govinda clone recite comedy acts for the don in Dubai & a Sonali Bendre/ Karisma Kapoor type dance for his entertainment. Yuck yuck yuck!!! Wonder who that famous actress was who became his gf & was given prime honour of sitting beside him when the rest of her colleagues were standing.

Morani is also famous for making a lot of these actresses his meal entertainment. Uses them & they've to oblige. Wonder why SRK is bffs with such a loathsome & despicable man!! But then he's also bffs with Salman. All of them have to protect themselves in some way or the other.

@Everyone - That was the biggest and most powerful nexus - Underworld- BW - Cricket-Police - Politicians. They were all in it together, so actors in 90s had to tow the line. There was no escape.

I remember SRK himself needed police protection because he was also getting threatening calls from the underworld during that time.

Somehow I don't find this incident true.May be he just made it up to show to the world how great his friendship is with srk.

Cops can refute this if it's untrue.You think Kjo will risk that? The cops involved wouldn't be just the constables na!😆😆
