I don't remember the exact information but there was an article on why Helen refuses to show her upper arm. It was there in article when Salim's married her and why khan brothers accepted her. When she won some award I remember all 3 presented it to her.

In 1959, Helen moved in with a B grade filmmaker named P.N Arora who was 27 yrs older than her. He was very controlling and possessive. But, Helen did not care at all and her only enjoyment was dancing and acting in films. In the 1960s, she began appearing in almost every film magazine in India and abroad. In 1973, she broke up with P.N Arora because she found out he was spending her money without her permission. This eventually resulted her in being almost bankrupt.

Really😲. I did not know about Helen's previous marriage, that too abusive .

Helen has strong bond with Salma and all Salim's children. This can't be faked for so many years. Its better than hiding your affair and keep cheating.

He was not her husband, I don't think they were married, lived together that's all... He squandered all her money...

Salim Khan helped her get roles and the rest as they say is history

Salim's first wife and children were upset initially but then they started getting along swimmimgly :-) Papa manages two wives beautifully, sons cannot manage one :-)

We were fed marriage line. It was conservative back then. Everything was glossed up. But yeah the man husband or no was bad news. Money was nothing. She said first thing she did when he was no longer in her life was was eat proper food. He would starve her to keep her in shape.
