Yeah...because what Kajol and her husband did was so very classy! How dare Karan talk about something that affected him in his own biography!

Taali ek haath se nahi bajti...but publishing something about ur friend,relatives is not good...

Yeah...I'm sure it was Karan only who asked Ajay to release that audio tape..I mean what even! 😆 People seem to have an issue because he's finally speaking his mind on that crap but not with the person who started that bull...bravo man!

Nobody in this industry can be termed "innocent"! 😆 And Karan has hardly ever pretended to be that but when it comes to that controversy, he sure as hell was.

Did you really expect something like that wouldn't be there in his book! It's his biography , of course it would be there since he has known Kajol since they were in their early twenties or late teens if I'm not wrong. As for "ran to Shahrukh"...yeah it's called sharing something that affected you with someone you consider your family. Most of us do it! He made ADHM without Kajol so it's not a question of "can't" at all.

@Red Most of us don't go running to a friend to complain when another friend falls out. We handle our own issues like mature people. That is what MOST people do. Most mature and normal people anyways. But KJO is an immature baby trapped in a 40 plus year body.

@Bold It is very clear, Kajol and KJO had a falling out and the Shivaay thing was perhaps the last straw. But by him bringing up Kajol unnecessarily in interviews like the directors round table makes me think he wrote ADHM unrequited love based on Kajol and not Tina as he says. Even the excerpt from the book about Kajol and Ajay and her supposed betrayal reads like that of a scorned lover and not a friend. Very OTT.

Kajol's family company is Ajay Devgan productions just like Dharma is KJos. Her children will one day inherit that company like KJO did Dharma. Adi and Ajay had a fall out too and Kajol was affected. She was boycotted by YRF when all the heroines were there for the Yash Chopra tribute. But she said she expected it and no rhona dona from her, even classy. She answered when she was asked. She went to Yash Chopra's funeral. Adi and Kajol barely spoke about it. Whatever it is they deal with it in private as it should be and I bet it was nasty, but we barely heard about it.Not write rhona dona tales or barely disguised screenplays or bring the person's name unnecessarily in interviews. KJO is immature.

If people are interested they will buy and read it
He has his freedom of expression

Are you actually telling me mature and normal people don't share what has affected them deeply with people they are darn close to and consider their family...oh okay! Karan calls Shahrukh "bhai", he's godfather to Shahrukh and Gauri's kids, his father left important documents with Shahrukh before he passed away...that should tell you a little about how Shahrukh ain't just another friend but is more like family to him! And sharing something that has affected you emotionally doesn't make you childish or weak, it's human tendency to share things with people who you're darn close to.

Umm...Ajay had filed a case against YRF, how much more public can it get! Kajol's sister tweeted all kinds of crap when she wasn't invited to JTHJ's premiere. This notion that nobody knew anything about that controversy is amusing considering Ajay spoke about it in multiple interviews, Kajol has spoken about it and Tanisha tweeted all kinds of crap at the time. And the excerpts that one is seeing are from his book and not from the interviews if I'm not wrong.

As for Karan talking about Kajol in the Rajeev Masand interview, he was narrating an incident from the sets of KKHH so of course Kajol's name would come up..lol! And as for ADHM being about Kajol...ha! You probably haven't read the rest of the excerpts :).
