I remember many years back when they were both one of the hottest couples in btown, there were many reports of them two dating and how Kareena left Shahid due to her as well. I have noticed many people in this forum know alot about bollywood gossip so I was simply wondering if anyone has any info relating to this??? The shamrita fan in me wants to believe that there was something between them

Amrita and Kareena were awkward around each other during the promotion of Satyagraha. But that tension could also be caused just by knowing Amrita shared great chemistry with her ex.

Shahid has dated almost all of his co-stars lol...Im suprised he didnt date Shraddha lol

I think they had some feeling for each other but shahid chose kareena since she is bigger star and have kapoor khandhan tag which helped people to recognize him better when he involved his name with her and when he was new most people knew him as kareena's boyfriend, that's why amrita never had a chance to come close to him but I think if kareena was not around then they would date each other for few years like many couples in BW.[/QUOTE

I think its something quite similar as well, although I feel shahid was a bit more conflicted between the two and eventually when he broke up with Kareena he distanced himself from Amrita as well as he probably wanted to get rid of his past
