It is appalling they could disregard Manoj Bajpayee for the best actor nomination while including Rajkumar Rao for supporting actor category!! It is like they are considering the movie but Bajpayee was not worthy of nomination..

But it is just critical acclaim - it didn't do well at the BO whereas Akshay's Rustom and Airlift were both critical and commercial successes so I think in that way, it should be considered. Then again, not surprised to see SRK's name on the list and Akshay's name not because Akshay has openly blasted award shows 😆

Why are people cribbing abt SRK being nominated for Fan? 😕 Movie was a flop but he was amazing as Aryan and Gaurav, this year he actually deserves the nomination!!

Yes, Akki deserved to be nominated for Airlift but movie industry doesnt forget insults and he insulted the Star Screen Awards by rejecting his award when he won it for Singh is King, instead of accepting his award when he won it, he gave it away to Aamir for Ghajini.

Yes, Randeep deserved it more than Ash probably, and Fitoor shd have been there for Best Music nominations instead of Mirzya or Baaghi

And definitely Fatima and Zaira shd have been nominated for Best Supporting Actress...hoping they get Best Debut at least.

But Pallavi when did these awards became 'movie industry'..They are just magazines. Movie industry is made of people like Aamir, Akshay, SRK etc..

Since you mentioned Akki giving away his award to Aamir(who was obviously much more deserving) I will take the name of one my fav in this case(to avoid any controversy)..Deepika did the same too with HNY..Has it stopped her from winning awards?
