I just saw Pink and I dont understand what the hype is?

Now I am not saying the movie was bad, or that the message wasnt needed. It was. But I didnt feel the performances were that great. Tapsee was so hyped up here...and she was strictly okay in the movie, in fact I cant stand Alia but she was way better in her movies.

Amitabh - as much as I love him, why is he winning awards?😕 He acted VERY WELL but he doesnt deserve an award for Pink...Shahid for UP or even Sushant would be a better choice!

I didn't even like the movie in the first place. yes the msg was great and you feel apprehensive while criticizing such movies that have good message but just didn't get the hype.

The movie had a good concept but I didn't like the final product. Very overhyped IMO. And I agree, it's a risk to criticize such movies because you might come across as non-progressive or something.

And except for Kriti Kulhari I found everyone's performances to be beyond overrated. 😆

I thought i was the only one who was surprised by the hype. I liked Tapsee and Amitabh upto some extend, but wont consider this as a Great performance.

Subject was good, but so much praise... Over hype..

Yeah me too. I haven't watched the movie but from the trailer itself I could tell it was gonna be full of OTT acting and drama. Actually you know what in India drama and emotions sell. It's pretty evident from the daily soaps. There NO doubt about the intention though, not at all.
We need more of this kind of movies.

That's just my opinion.
