I feel the nominations of many categories are faulty.
Sultan is 2nd biggest movie of the year and it has no nomination in Best Director, movie , or actor category? If I sound biased then its also true that Sonam and Anu missing from Best Actress? How do you explain this?
I did not participate as I missed the deadline of voting. Going forward, can you keep some stand-out performances in nominations by default?
I applaud the hard work that you have put in IM, but if the end result is not very fair, what is the point of doing this exercise?
Its a suggestion, not criticism. Please don't mind. I also understand that I did not vote, so I have no right to come and rant. Apologies again , its not to put down your hard work.
Thanks for your feedback. RR already clarified a few things.
The way it works is that "nominees" are identified by who the jury votes. Sultan, Sonam and Anu didn't get enough votes to make the Top 5 cut. We're strict... because our rules are like Oscars not pan paraag awards --- 6 - 9 nominees per category.
As RR said, more voters will see different outcome. For instance, at the first BoIFA, Bajrangi Bhaijaan won many awards including Best Film along with Best Actor nomination for Salman.
Don't let this outcome disappoint you. If Tubelight or TZH are good, nothing can stop reaching it.
Our voting system is very transparent. No "deals" going on.

We will promote more and keep a wider voting window. Hope you make the deadline this time and get your friends to participate too.
The system is exactly like Oscars... just on a small scale. 😳
