I found Neerja to be a really good movie too. I think it was a very well made biopic and did great justice to Neerja's spirit..the tension created was real and you literally felt like you were in that plane with them. It was also very subtly handled when most other directors or makers would have been really tempted to make it manipulative, melodramatic, and overly sappy/emotional. It was also fabulously edited and didn't really have unnecessary or false bits. I felt as if most other movies this year needed better editing. TBH, I feel like people have a very hard time accepting that Sonam was part of this movie so they channel that onto the movie.

That being said, I find it super cool that the top 3 are all female empowerment movies. and they're all successful too 🥳
