Since the time Sanjay Dutt has returned after serving is jail sentence, we've been witnessing a different side of the star. The side which is more brash and outspoken. Be it his comments on Ranbir Kapoor for doing his biopic or shaming him for his career choices. Not just that since the time he has returned, there have been strong speculations about his rift with close friend Salman Khan. Dutt however has time and again refuted all the claims. While all this time Sanjay Dutt had good things to say about his "younger brother". But recently present in Delhi for an event, Sanjay Dutt was asked to play a word association game onstage.
During the Rapid Fire Round when Sanjay Dutt was asked to choose a word to describe Salman Khan, he promptly replied arrogant.'
This is not the first time Sanjay Dutt had called out on his friends and colleagues, as aforementioned, Sanjay Dutt in the past had called out Ranbir Kapoor for his films and his dedication for his portrayal of Sanjay Dutt in the biopic, He had said, "Meri life kaafi interesting hogi ki Raju Hirani saab jaise director ko pasand aayi. Ranbir is playing me, aur unki haalat kafi kaharab hai. Unka mujhe roz phone aata hai. (My life should be pretty interesting given that someone like Raju Hirani liked it so much. Ranbir is playing me and he is in quite a state. He calls me every day.) He wants to spend days and weeks with me, but I can't spend more than half an hour with anybody. I have been trying to avoid him, it is a difficult role for him to play. He is a fine actor though."
Earlier Ranbir Kapoor was told by Sanjay Dutt at a private party that he is not macho enough to play Sanjay Dutt on the big screen, he had mocked the young actor saying, I want to produce a film starring you'. Of course', came the reply from Ranbir. Then, with a straight face, Dutt said, The film is called Laddoo'. The Kapoor boy repeated the word questioningly, only to receive a retort, "Yes, after that we will make films called Imarti, Jalebi and then Peda."
By then, the guests and RK began to catch his drift. Awkward silence followed. Then Sanju exploded, "I watched Barfi! on TV recently. What made you do a film like that? @#$^&* bloody hell, you are playing me in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. I don't know how they cast you."
He continued, "You should be a macho man. Act in macho films. You can't be doing films like Barfi!. You should be holding guns and doing action films. Do you think actors like me, Salman and Ajay would have been around for so many years, if we had not played macho characters on screen? You have no connect with the masses and that is very important."
