In Islam naming you child Allah is not permissible.

However naming someone mekka/makki, medina, haji is permissible.

Did India ban Taimur or the government said its not permissible to name your child Taimur? If not then by all means the parents have all the rights to name their kid Taimur. In Muslim community Taimur is very common and hence many Indian Muslims name their kids Taimur but just because Saif and KKK have named their kid Taimur all of a sudden the sentiments are hurt when someone's freaking neighbour might be named Taimur.

Its a lovely name with beautiful meaning. If we go by History so many names would be banned from the world. Clearly names like Ashoka, Chandragupt, Victoria, Akbar all should be banned from the face of earth because all rulers at one point carried out mass murder. Taimur is very famous name among Muslims but it's not famous among Indians.If some Indian Muslims are ignorant then it's sad thing and I'm speechless but saif is historian according to kareena so majority of Indian were not expecting such name from him.

I have never read Akbar or Ashoka or chandragupta has tried to change
a person's religion by force n violence.nor did i ever came across a line

am most tolerant towards every God.bt my problem is I do not believe in
doing anything that does nt come from within.so am against forceful
conversion to any religion.be it any religion be it even mines.if i see

vocal.taimur clearly tried to convert forcefully.n when karena has mentioned
saif loves history we will give historical name it leaves them with no excuse
