So who do you think has the best chance to become legend. Khans have ruled Bollywood at one time or other. But time does not stop for anyone. What is gold yesterday, will be dust tomorrow. BO scores has no meaning in the future. What remains behind is their body of work and the quality of the movies.

Time has come for us to take a look at their career and wonder which of the 3 khan's movie choices will be able to withstand the test of time. How do you think will they rate on Legend's scale? Or will they all disappear into the Bollywood landscape without making a splash...

SRK will be remembered for his acting & as an outsider who made it to the top.

Salman will be remembered for his controversies & the fact that he never married.

Aamir will be remembered for his BO success. The one who almost got away & made a comeback.

Salman for his masala and fanbase

Aamir for his thoughtful movies and perfectionist ways

SRK for being an outsider and conquering BW with a mega fortune.

What is clear is there will rarely be a trifecta like them and without them BW would not be whatever it is today and I mean it in a good way.

Salman -- for his crazy vaaast fanbase..

Aamir -- for trying to be creative

SRK -- for being romantic Badshah

Three are popular - all three have huge fanbases actually, but Salman's is a little on higher level than other two. Both Salman/Aamir are BO success, maybe even SRK, but his career is currently seeing a dry spell.

Cannot exactly rate anyone above the other.. they will be known as the 'Khans' though.

Salman - A puzzle for people to crack on how he became superstar. Dabang , PRDP , Kick will be seen again and again to decode what did fans see in these movies

Aamir - He will be legend with landmark movies like TZP, Lagaan, PK , 3I and many others to his credit. Dangal will join the list soon

SRK - An outsider who achieved greatest heights and gamechanger in BW business. Daar,Bazigar, Chak de and KJo, YRF movies will be his legacy

All of them will be legends and there can not be any scale for measuring "legend-ness"..And their fates are kinda intertwined and their names will be taken together whatever their current is or future state will be...

All 3 have achieved that legend status -- their names will always be taken together. They have done enough to put their names in the history books.

Aamir has the best filmography of the lot and his films will long outlive him and the other two as well.

Salman will be known as the controversial and almost puzzling star that commanded mass hysteria comparable to Rajesh Khanna.

SRK will be known as the outsider who rose to the top and put BW on the world map. He has the most inspiring story of the lot and that will probably be his biggest legacy (there's a reason why people are desperate to prove themselves as outsiders in some way or the other). I can definitely see some biopics being made on him years from now for that rags to riches story.

3 khans have their own strengths and weaknesses ...but to measure their popularity in the name of scale then salman tops the scale ..as his fan following is huge !!
