Abhishek to play a superhero again; will begin the shoot of Lefty in J

While Abhishek's last superhero flick Drona
(2008) couldn't perform well at the box
office, the actor is all set to make a
comeback with his super powers as a
vigilante in his next.
The 40-year-old actor will kick-start the
shoot of his upcoming next titled Lefty in
mid-January and as the name suggests will
play a left-handed character in the film.
Interestingly, Abhishek is a lefty in his off-
screen life too and so believes he is much
closer to the role.
A leading daily quoted a source as saying,
"The film will see Abhishek play a left-
handed character (considered inauspicious
by some in India) who is on a mission to
save his city. A regular guy in the world's
eye, he has special powers that help him
sense trouble. Abhishek and Prabhudheva
met last week to discuss details of the shoot.
The team will leave for a recce in Hyderabad
where the story is set, sometime this week."
Notably, the movie will be directed by
Prabudeva and co-produced by Abhishek
and buddy Bunty Walia.
As far as the leading lady is concerned, the
buzz is that the makers are looking for a
fresh face to play Abhishek's love interest in
the film.

Hmmm ... wow ... he is still getting films? ... and he is shameless enough to still jump on the offers? .. well .. Ash's films are not working, AB Sr. isn't doing that many films, AB Jr.'s films never work, JB should try to make a comeback. At least the family will continue making money and stay in the filmy limelight without Jr. having to make a fool of himself in movie halls all across the nation.

Prabhudeva films mainly cater to single screens audience and masses. Abhishejk doesn't have a draw there. He should have convinced someone like Mani ratnam to make a film as mr is among few directors who can bring best out of abhi.
