Why did Ash play a second fiddle to Anushka?

She has a 10 minutes role in ADHM. What made Ash do this film? She is senior than Anushka, but played a second fiddle to her. Its not that she is in dire need of money.

Rani did a ten minute role in K3G. SRK did a cameo. Maybe she did for the sake of friendship.

Rani and SRK were treated as cameo. But Ash clearly was the supporting actress in ADHM.

Ash was the only one who could've done Saba. Maybe Sushmita as well, but she's not high profile enough.

Whatever she did was better than Dumb Ayan & bit*h Alizeh combined. Can't believe I am saying this but Saba's role was second best to Lisa's.
