Ranbir is a much much better actor though he is not choosing the right films since a couple of years. Fawad has this much following mostly because of his looks (yes he is a decent actor too).

Every superstar has flops and Fawad was a drama actor he did only one movie and that is Khuda Ke Liye where Shaan played the lead actor. So lets not compare the stardom of both at least now. We will talk about it whenever he will open his account with Pakistani Cinema. Right now he has only worked in BW movies and its not a barometer of his popularity as a movie star in his home country. Also I have seen Janaan and other Eid releases were more successful in Pakistan than Khoobsurat and K&S.

If patriotism is the only card that could have played then why not other movies on the same topic got successful? If Shaan was the only one who brought the audience then why didn't o21 worked? When a movie works its always a mixture of everything. It had the brilliance of Bilal Lashari and stardom of Shaan ! Now everyone knows who he is after his first movie so he is a big name. Also, Maula Jatt is a remake of a classic so I said Maula Jatt is not a barometer of Fawad's stardom, it has HIT written all over it. It will give him the much needed push.
