I love ADHM gang 🤗 . Met so many wonderful people there .
Though I don't believe blindly in this Times Celeb list, one thing has struck me. If you all remember, Ranbir was NEVER given credit for success of this movie . Till date, people give credit to controversy and KJo a lot of credit.
So my question is - How did Ranbir and Anu manage to top this list if buzz of moive was centered around KJo and other actor?
I am not mathematician , but I can take a sensible guess that outside this forum, ADHM was Ash and Ranushka movie and their act got more people talking about them .
Ranbir isn't a small entity in real world . Right?

I never understood how this list works and I still don't. 😆

But the fact is that ADHM had a lot more buzz. A movie with bad WOM can't DO 100 crore business with a clash without any buzz or interest.

A controversy doesn't help at all. The argument is so silly that controversies make people curious to check out the movie even though they are NOT interested! What?? If people just wanted to see what caused the controversy, they could very easily check out the online version instead of wasting 200-500 bucks! People even watched the director's cut which was priced Rs 2200! Abb log itna bhi buddhu hai kya! Obviously they wanted to watch the movie. 😆

A better WOM could have made it earn about 150 cr making it a superhit or BB. But people had ample interest whatsoever!

The controversy attached to ADHM was worst - To be called anti-national movie - it would never work.

The kind of controversy that sells the movie is mainly chemistry and affair between lovers and ex lovers or a very bold subject. Or UP - Censor controversy that was turned to be a protest against Censor, still it didn't make 100 crore !!
Anti-national never sells a movie . So this argument is laughable .
