Sanjay invented TUNNA TUNNA along with Shakti Kapoor. These guys are legends. To bad Ranbir won't be doing TUNNA TUNNA in this biopic movie 😆

Now back to the topic...Ranbir is not capable of doing macho character roles. He choose to follow his fathers footsteps by doing romantic films. It's made him what he is today.

Alright you all Macho ke chamcho, this is for you

From Prithvi Raj Kapoor to Jubliee King aka Rajendra Kumar, BW's main stay was romantic heroes. Was Dilip Kumar an action hero? He cried his eyes out in Devdas. Did legendary Raj Kumar need to be macho ? His dialogues were enough to kill the villains and probably got more seeti in theatre than all Macho movies of 90s. BW has seen long careers , successful careers with romantic and soft heroes. Do I need to mention Raj Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor himself whose career ran on romance, not machoism?!!
Was India's first superstar Rajesh Khanna macho?
I can go on about this with many examples, I am sure you all get the drift now.
How can you forget SRK , who is romance king. Yes he tries machoism, still romance is what made him King Khan.
Before you say zamana badal Gaya hai, let me say that times have changed since 90s and early 2000.
Masala movies are running out of steam. People are tired of seeing cars flying and hero beating 10 people. Good and content based movies will be back soon. Hopefully actors like Ranbir will lead the change . Wait n watch.

The word 'Macho' itself is outdated. We used to hear this word regularly in the 90s.

Now people talk about 6 pack abs and 8 pack abs.

In the initial days of his career,Sanjay himself didn't look macho.Just watch any of his 80s movies and he used to be a skinny guy.

In the 90s,this trend of 'Macho' heroes building up their muscles started.

When Ranbir's character will enter that phase in the movie,he can very well build some muscles and look macho.It's not like no one can be macho.

Aamir used to be called chocolate boy in the 80s and 90s and he too became 'macho' later.😆

And what about Amitabh bachan ji??..Unke aage Rajinder kumar,Raj Kumar etc kya the?? Amitabh se bada koi action h ero tha aur aaj jo Amitabh ji hai koi bhi nahi...Rishi Kapoor ka bhi koi career tha🤣he was only gud in female oriented movies like Damini,Naseeb apna apna,prem rog and many more..macho Sunny deol won National award for supporting actor for Damini and was much more appreciated then so called Romantic hero Rishi Kapoor.
