LMAO. If a SRK film doesn't recover a budget of 30 crores then it would be high time he quits. You make it sound like recovering 30 cr is a huge task for SRK.

Shivaay had double the screens as what DZ had, 2950 for Shivaay & hardly 1100 for DZ. They didn't compared, they said in same range.

Shivaay Day 1 = 9.19 Cr

In this way opening is on same level.

Okay o wise one. And would you tell why this is getting only 1100 screens? Don't tell me the rest have been taken up by RO2 and Force 2. 😛

Or is it because the single screen audience is not interested in this shitfest? 😉

This 1100 makes SENSE, this i am saying from past, Films like DEAR ZINDAGI has almost Zero audience in Single Screens, why to release in this much big scale.

Now makers understood their target audience & just catering them. 1100 Screens give it best shot at getting a HIT rather than a 3000 Screens release which would have given FLOP verdict.

That was done for Rock On 2, Force 2 & Tum Bin 2 as there was less audience. DZ has released on Normal Rates.

Even this week it is playing on lowered rates as compared to Dear Zindagi which is on normal rates. The film has suffered due to this but not to the extent that the film could actually work if the cash crunch and lower ticket rates were not there.

Is it really being touted as an SRK film? I wouldn't call it that..

I checked the ticket rates yesterday. They are definitely down. INOX is selling tickets at just Rs 180...normally it sells tickets at Rs 270.
