The case filed by Hrithik Roshan with the Cyber Crime department regarding an imposter in his legal battle with Kangana Ranaut found it's verdict. Due to no positive leads to the server or finding the culprit, the case has been dissolved by the police. And guess who is the winner in this legal spat? None other than Kangana Ranaut!You might be wondering how but isn't it quite obvious? The verdict proves her right and that there is no imposter, just as she claimed all this while! A leading tabloid received a quote from the Queen actress' lawyer, Rizwan Siddique, who stated, "We are not surprised to learn that the police have, after a thorough investigation, filed a NIL report, which means that they could not trace any imposter as was claimed by Hrithik Roshan...Kangana has always been maintaining that there was no imposter ever."

Did you get it now? Ranaut's team had never claimed in the first place that it was an imposter's work of fiction that drew the actress in a delusional relationship with Hrithik but the actor himself. In the wake of November 17, 2016, the legal battle between two of Bollywood's talented stars found the light of the day. "We have been unable to find anything on the mail ID as the server is located in the US. Now it is very difficult to ascertain who was using the account. Still, we will try to conclude [the case] from the available evidence," Sanjay Saxena, joint commissioner of police, Crime Branch quoted. This of course, meant that the case has been closed due to lack of hardhitting evidence. Roshan, on the other hand, hasn't commented anything on this yet.

It all started with one loose comment of silly ex' stated by Kangana Ranaut at an event that unravelled into one of Bollywood's most controversial stories! Yes, we've seen breakups and marriages this year but nothing beats this nasty fight Kangana and Hrithik had publicly. Both the celebs revealed shocking details about their relationship or whatever they had between each other. Bottom line being fans were the ones who went berserk with the reports both the parties claimed of the other person. While Mr Roshan claimed that it was an imposter who, going by the email ID hroshan@email.com, created fantasies in Kangana's mind. Well, one thing is confirmed here. There may be an imposter or there may not be one but the department sure wants to wrap up this case ASAP! After investigating for more than eight months, the Cyber Crime cell hasn't found any evidence to support the case. A senior police officer was quoted as saying, "It's a dead end. Only data from the server based in the US could have helped us in identifying the user of the email account." Then why hasn't any notion made to contact US and get the facts straight on what's the real deal in this case? We got a lot of questions buzzing in our heads.

The case is not yet closed: Hrithik's lawyers on legal battle with Kangana

The legal battle between actors Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut following their public spat over whether the two were in a relationship in the past isn't over yet, said Hrithik's legal team on Thursday.

"Media reports which suggest that the investigation into the Hrithik-Kangana emails is closed are totally false. A section of the media in connivance with Ms. Ranaut's lawyer has sought to disseminate this false information," Hrithik's lawyers said in a statement.

"The investigation, in fact, continues and Mr. Saxena (Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime) has informed Mr. Mahesh Jethmalani, Senior Counsel advising Mr. Roshan, that the case is not yet closed. Investigation is still going on'," the statement added.

The affirmation came after certain media reports on Thursday claimed that the legal dispute between the two has come to an end. The reports said that the case is being closed as the Mumbai Police have not been able to find who was impersonating actor Hrithik Roshan to send regular emails to Kangana Ranaut.

"It is categorically asserted that there is unimpeachable evidence to suggest that there was no relationship of any kind between Mr. Roshan and Ms. Ranaut and that Ms. Ranaut persistently hounded Mr. Roshan on e-mails with the intention to entice him into a relationship," claimed the statement.

A public spat broke out between the two former co-stars when Kangana in an interview hinted at Hrithik being her "ex", to which Hrithik responded by tweeting that "there are more chances of me having had an affair with the Pope" than with Kangana. Soon both exchanged legal notices.

The two were first linked in 2013 when they came together in Krrish 3 but the rumour gained momentum after the actor officially separated from his wife Sussanne in December 2013.

I wld've said its for promotional tactics for HR upcoming movie but then why wld Kangy's own lawyer help him given he started it.

Unless Kangy still deep down believes that HR is her one and true love therefore asked her lawyer to started the lie to benefit HR film, so he realizes how much he means to her and how nice and selfless she is and fall in love with her.😆

I definitely don't think this is any kind of "promotion " the Roshans want. They say there is a thin line between love and hate. It seems like she absolutely cannot stand to see anything good happening to him. He has been getting a lot of good press lately so naturally she has to do something or say something or have her idiot lawyer say something to try to bring him down.

I used to think it was clearly an indication of instability that she kept egging him on but I have a new thought ...there were rumors producers were nervous about backing her films, people (Shahid, Alia, Vidya) have started saying things which could be taken as potshots and even her W*F statements about PC and HR in the no filter interview - which in the past would have been hailed as "fearless honesty" - created more negative headlines for her than them, maybe she is getting really worried about her career. Hrithik (and his father) keeps implying he is at some point going to reveal something more than we already know which probably makes anyone - producer, director, actor - super nervous about committing to work with her especially if they don't know what it is. Maybe at this point she thinks she will do better by pushing him into spilling whatever it is so she can try to weather any damage and move on rather than having it endlessly hanging over her head, scaring away work.
