People like TM live far away from reality and in a bubble. They are still living in 90s BW era and still want happy endings in BW films all the time. Wake up and get real, dear.
why do we need to think in terms of extremes 😆 I don't like Sooraj Barjatya's marriages equally as I think of Karan Johar's
It's fine if things go shitty in marriages- I've seen enough of that, and acknowledge that it happens.
You can show a dignified divorce through cinema, though- and it's not like that hasn't been done before in movies. Celeste and Jesse forever, Stepmom, Astitva- some examples of films in which people have actually shown the trajectory of a failing relationship, done well.
When I think of K.Jo's movies, there's simply no rhyme and reason.
Ali is a cheater which Alizeh had knowledge of, and yet still goes ahead and breaks off her relationship with her family to pursue.
Rani Mukherjee in KANK "just doesn't feel it" for Abhishek.
Again, I'm not saying its wrong that Ali or Rani are like this- but WHY is the question.
I wish Karan Johar would at least showcase the downfall of relationships, instead of making it as if we need to fill in the spaces and assume the rest.
