Rekha_ji seriously you think Ratna Pathak had a better performance in JTYJN than Kangana in Fashion??? Ratna is an outstanding actor but this is like giving MOT to Sachin in 2011 WC instead of Yuvi because Sachin is senior. When the movie broke out everybody praised it, especially the performances of the three ladies Priyanka, Mughda and Kangana, with many critics pointing out Kangana stole the show and praising her for flawlessly protraying the body language of a model. While Priyanka was hugely praised for her sincere performance. You me aur Hum, I agree is a misunderstood movie (IMO it was a good movie), and Kajol was excellent but Priyanka deserved the award that year. You are making it like Priyanka and Kangana were undeserving that year.

Although the following year PC killed it with What's Your Raashee? - now that was National Award-worthy, but she wasn't nominated ANYWHERE for it (I think she got 1 nom out of 30-40 award shows - Screen Awards?)

Kangu in Fashion is so cringeworthy. She was really trying but it really didn't work for me.

WYR was a poorly made movie though, while Fashion was much better made even if it had its flaws.
Also I don't think Kangana was cringeworthy or poor in the movie. She protrayed the role flawlessly IMO.
