In my friends group everyone voted and 90% of them voted for Clinton, we are in NY/NJ where she won...even in ur state California Clinton won- 55 electoral votes.😆

Shes winning in popular votes nationwide, its still being counted, shes leading by 200,000 votes.

Trump won because of the stupid old electoral college system! Which is skewed in favor of red states.

Electoral college is an 18th century old system of assigning certain number of electoral votes to each state...some states have more, some have less. Unfortunately most of the Republican leaning states have more electoral votes...Texas has 39!

So even though Hillary won the popular votes (actual votes tally), Trump won because the electoral votes of the states he won added up to 270, whoever gets to 270 first wins the race.
