NO ONE ever got 10 movies before first film release.

Shraddha debuted in early 2010 but didn't make a mark until summer 2013.

If she wasn't pretty she wouldn't be paid millions to endorse beauty products. The advertising world does not give a sh*t about family connections - they are ONLY about profits.

Being Shakti Kapoor's daughter did zilch to Shraddha. It actually made matters worse for her. Can anyone from the industry barely stand Shakti Kapoor? Don't think so.
She should not be named with other star kids. She had her debut with a dismal teen patti. If not for the huge success of A2 and her pairing with Aditya, she would have been done n dusted.

RS is not a starkid but an insider. Pari is not but I wonder how she landed a job at YRF? She was not even that bright as a student , I suppose.

I've read in her interviews that she was an accountant/investment banker working in London and she decided to get into the movies after the recession hit or something. She got a job in the marketing department of YRF and worked on a few movies as part of the marketing team.

Star kids or not...audience laat maarne mein discriminate nahi karti if one is not good enough for them...AB Jr...is the kid of the biggest star out there and he is talented as well...but audience didn't like him...Salman, Arabaaz and Sohail have the same Dad, same opportunities and yet Salman made it big...the other two didn't...so the outsiders should stop chanting about being outsiders and star kids and blah blah...there are so many star kids who didn't make it...like Esha Deo, Tusshhar Kapoor ...the only advantage the star kids have is that sometimes they get movies even if they are not worth it...like Esha Deol...but sooner or later the audience shows them the door...bakre ke maa-baap kab tak khair manayenge..

and no one would have given Parineeti a second glance if not for her famous sister...

She wasn't an IBer😆..she wanted to get a job there as one, but recession and frankly her Uni won't have gotten her a job in the field.

YRF job she got through PC , she herself has admitted. It was a PR relations thing.So, yes, connection and easy access.

But , I still feel PC Jr is more of an outsider because it is hard for non-star kids to break the clique. Anu, had it tough too. You see PC Jr and Anu offered left-over projects or less choices. I think, outsiders have it tough in bagging that second and third project .

Of course they are not outsiders, Ranveer is related to Anil Kapoor. Pari is PC's cousin.

They had family members in the industry so they cannot be called rank outsiders.

Ranveer comes from a rich family, Pari was already working for YRF, so they didnt really have to struggle like newcomers and new arrivals to Mumbai have to do.

Only people with NO family connections to Bollywood can be called outsiders.

Name dropping always helps in getting chances in BW or for that matter a job in any industry. If u say, Im related to so and so...you will get first preference.

Pari could not sustain her early success because of some flops and also she couldnt get the kind of popularity and fandom that other actresses did.
