If they were insulting him I would understand, but I watched the movie and they were not insulting him. When I left theater I left thinking Rafi Ji was actually implied praised and seen as an inspiration for Ranbir's character and afterwards happily listened to a song of his, so I am surprised to see this drama. They were articulating the raw emotion and passion of Rafi Ji's great singing voice, something's Ranbir's character at the time lacked but thought he had. Doubt Sonu or others offended watched the movie and just saying what he is hearing from papers. Do people not understand Rafi was human? I love Rafi Ji and listen to him almost every day since I was a kid, but some fail to realize he was just a human like all of us on this earth he did fart, burped, pooped just like we have done, so I don't know why people are getting up and arms about something that was at minimum a small chuckle moment with no malice. If they did insult him I would be mad too but they didn't so I'm not.

Double standards here. Why cant sonu justify his idol he is his fan. And here you guys anyone said to your fav you guys go mad. Just because sonu is famous and u guys..NOT

If Rafi was indeed insulted in the movie, Son Nigam's anger makes sense. But it seems like, that sentence is taken out of contex (which actually was mocking at Anushka's character's ignorance over Rafi).
