Btw in the very next year Kill Dill came & saw what had happened. Tamasha can be still understandable! but YJHD. like seriously 😆 RK was at the top that time. After continuous hits Raajneeti, Rockstar, Barfi. & Deepika had given back to 7 flops before 2013. She got huge popular & everyone started loving her after Naina happened. 3 SRK films are ahead of ADHM. Fan was probably his weakest performance overseas in recent times. No comparison at all. SRK is far superior to Fawad at the BO. But when it comes to the younger lot Fawad is up there thanks to Pakistan as well as Pakistani diaspora in UK, Gulf, Canada and USA. He is also popular among NRIs.

ADHM is not Fawad's film. Yes the controversy was on his name but end of the day its RK-ANU-ARB's film.

I love Fawad and I'll try to watch his Pakistani movies in Bahrain but right now people consider him a good actor and handsome. But I dont believe it for a second he has a pull amongst Indian audiences. Pakistanis yes but not Indian.

Agreed. As much as I like watching Ranbir as a performer, he cannot be compared to SRK, and he won't even be in 10 years from now if you ask me. SRK-Kajol pairing up for sure is an incentive, but SRK alone is enough to pull crowds overseas.

India mein jo ho so ho, lekin bahar usse bara star koi nahi. No other Khans, no Akshay, no Mr. Bachan. People trying to deny that are just fooling themselves. He pulls up opening numbers by himself. I have friends over here who're Muslim, Christian, Chinese who go to watch his movies simply, well because it's him. Ridiculous, but even his crappy movies work overseas because it's him. There's no denying that. It's incredible the kind of stardom he enjoys overseas. Respectful even if you ask me. Bollywood for NRIs and non-Indians is often SRK himself. And mostly, Karan Johar movies work because he's known to be the name behind Shah Rukh.

I'm not saying it'll stay the same. It's changing gently, but he does and will always enjoy immense popularity.
