SULTAN - MOST WATCHED Film on TV (2016 Released) | Rustom Disaster

Sultan got a television rating of 1,13,10,000 impressions which is the highest of the year but well short of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Sony Max has a history of low premieres in the last couple of years though films rate very strongly on repeat runs. Still Sultan would have been expected around 15000. Repeat runs will be interesting here. The other films to put up good totals were Housefull 3, Dishoom and Baaghi while hit films like Airlift and Neerja floundered as were disasters on television. Rustom has also fared very badly on television. Fan fared poorly on both accounts. The final results Dhoni remained to be seen. Sultan, Housefull 3 and Baaghi are the three films so far this year to score on both accounts. The figures below are the cinema footfalls added to television impressions of the premiere on television.
