Ind-Pak trade is very very low. and in that India's export is 80%. Under an estimate direct trade one or two years back was 1 bn dollar and indirect from gulf countries cycle was nearly twice. MFN status doesn't matter for India specially when it comes to monetary matters.

Forget MFN...the whole trade doesn't matter given the size...just carrying the trade as a nuisance value...from the perspective of WTO & GATT agreement

When any deals are made, it cannot be scrapped overnight, it takes time to check the loopholes. Before Modi tenure is over Pak will loose MFN status and they will be declared Pak as terrorist state unless Pak take action against non state actors. Atleast after US threat of taking action, Pak did take action by freezing Masood azhar account. People love peace and harmony, if Pak govt take positive action against terrorist, things will be normal again. Nothing is permanent when it comes to politics.
