DDLJ wasnt the arrival of SRK...😆

SRK had arrived with Baazigar and Darr in 1993, both movies released in Nov and December of 1993, SRK gained HUGE stardom, he was on ALL magazine covers from Filmfare to Stardust to Cine Blitz, I still have 2 of those mags saved from 1993. 😆

He won ALL the Filmfare awards for 1993 and 1994...Best Debut for Deewana, Best actor for Baazigar, Best Critics award for KHKN.

Akki's first few movies were all flops, he didnt have the instant stardom like the Khans did.

SRK was the only outsider Khan who got instant fame and stardom with his debut and subsequent movies, Akki didnt have that.

And yes, YRF was going thru a lean patch with flops like Lamhe and Parampara, so the success of DARR brought them back and then Yashji saw SRK as his lucky star so repeated him in his subsequent films.

Adi C became director with DDLJ so he owes his success to SRK .

Same with KJo...his career as director started with SRK and continuing to this day.

Yes, YRF did help SRK a lot as much as KJO did. Everybody know this so called King is nothing without the YRF brand.

Unlike SRK... Aamir, Salman, Akki, Ajay & Sunny didn't rely on these banners give them Hits, Superhits and Blockbusters.

Who's SRK without the YRF brand? Nothing...
