Lol. Kahe ka tinka. I am not FOB at least. That I was 10-11 years ago. Abhi you can call me non-immigrant work visa holder. Lol. Mere bachhe Jab hoge.. they will be ABCDs. 😭 India ke bare mein Aisa tesa bola.. toh padegi 2 chaped. 😉 desi style. 😆

I had a good opinion of ABCDs. It changed after I joined IF. Some are really very very ignorant.

Mujhe abhi tak jada ABCDs se mulakat nehi hua hain..because most of my circles are new born or toddlers but FOBs dekhi hain bohot saare..aaj lag H1 B milte hi log suru ho jate hain

Aisa hai to be prepared.. kuch saalo me there will be another desi ya phir fob jo aise hi forum pe aapke bachho ka mazak udayegi! :)

I have a cousin. ABCD. Par use jyada allowed nahi hai India ke bare mein ulta sidha bolna. 😆

Baki mene yaha bohot dekhe hai ABCDs. They don't call themselves Indian par ulta sidha bolna hai toh.. pehle kudenge. Nada nulla pata ni hoga mummy Papa k desh k bare mein. (Not all hh. They are some knowledgeable ones too)

Are I am also H1 holder. Par FOB to nai hoon. It's been more than 10 years for me. And I am Dhobi ka kurta types. Rehti yaha pe hoon.. lekin I love everything desi. 🤔 😆

Kids born in american are exposed to two cultures.. do culture jo ek dusre se koso dur.. dono ko mix karna is not easy job.. dekha hai maine meri family me.. par they try aur try to stay in touch with their roots.. aasan nahi hai! FOBs ko assimilate karna bhi aasan nahi... dono hi apne hisaab se try karte hai... par jab koi mazak udata hai 3 fingers unpe bhi point hoti hai.. aur kuch nahi :)
