Saw the moive . It's disappointing !!
Spoilers ahead

Loved the struggle and frustration of MSD in first half . They totally failed to show MSD becoming captain , his leadership and effect on team members. How his mind works and how he tackles pressure situation.
Love stories were ridiculous. Girls looked very pretty but moive could have been better without them.
We love to see Dhoni hitting that WC 6!! Moive left a lot of gaps and was documentary of Celebrating MSD success.
Sushant is MSD !! Well done Susu

I liked the first half, but second half was quite bad... they skip a lot about his career and there is too much focus on romance... i would have liked to see more insight into his career in second half... i felt like i was watching second half as spectator...

It was an average affair... SSR did an amazing job as Dhoni.. Never once I felt he didn't suit the role.. Supporting cast was good as well.. Especially Disha Patani... She is cute.. I liked her more than Kiara.. She can go places if she selects good roles.. Songs were good as well... But thats about it...

The flow wasn't smooth.. They just showed one event after another... Not much was shown about his bonding or frictions with his other team mates... How he became captain etc.

This is the reason I feel the biopic was made too soon.. He is still the captain of Indian team.. He cant risk that by showing every true facet about his journey or what he feels about the other team members.. Maybe it should have been made after he got retired..

Finally watched MsDhoni. I must say it's a long one😆

Whatever..coming to the movie!

It's F A N T A S T I N G ❤️

SSR did justice with the role of Dhoni. 👏

But there r few scenes...where i didn't like SSR. Umm,,it's not like i didn't like SSR in those scenes...actually it felt that only Dhoni would fit for those scenes😆

The Young Yuvi was just a mirror of Real Yuvi😆

I was really shocked at Priyanka's dead. Didn't think that i would get to watch such a tragic scene.

Somethings are repetitive & dragged. Editor could have cut those scenes to make the movie little shorter.

I really wanted to see some more things about Dhoni's career especially how he got the captaincy. And there was no mention of his wicket keeping in national team. Dhoni is a wonderful wicket keeper & so i think that should be added.

if there was any doubt in anyone's mind whether hard work begets success or whether perseverance is the key to success...they should watch this movie...people who know me know that I'm a big fan of dhoni but watching his story unfold, esp the story before he came into public eye n the lap of success ...I can say just one thing...mad mad respect for this guy...humble/friendly/focused/dedicated/determined/cool head (n not just on field but also during the times he failed, off the pitch)/ ...just can't stop gushing...just Love him...special mention to his friends n coach n sponsor requesting sardarji...how selfless...so proud of this guy...I loved all of it..first n second half lol...he is a person too..it was good they reflected on his gf n wife...gem of a person!

I actually am not a fan of ssr but in this movie...he rocked...fab job

This is also the 3rd biggest opening ever for Fox Star. The movie's mass appeal is based on the subject who is a real-life hero at home and across the diaspora. The total frame in India and the UK was $14.52M.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is one of the highest paid athletes in the world and a gentleman cricketer who was captain of India's team, leading it to World Cup victory in 2011. The film, directed by Neeraj Pandey, recounts his life story from the dusty roads of his origins in Ranchi to the sacred grounds of the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Sushant Singh Rajput, Kiara Advani and Anupam Kher star in the biopic whose trailer generated some 22M views. The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Marathi versions.

complete entertainer loved the cricket scenes from childhood to winning the world cup

What is special about the film is the way it was told

not a dull moment throughout

it is quite a long film but still gripping.

sushant completely moulds into dhoni. in my opinion ssr's best film till date it was entertaining but also well made and logical

sushant also plays teenage dhoni which i liked (p.s. you can tell body is fake if you look close 😆)

both girls are good, sad what happened to priyanka i liked her character slightly more

if you like cricket watch the film there is plenty of cricket and tells dhoni's story well

there are real clips of cricket used, they actually show most of the real india players in the movie

could improve: some cricket scenes too fast

how dhoni got captaincy not really shown but i think he had the captaincy quality naturally since he was a teenager

didn't show him wicketkeeping at all that was also amazing in the world cup

rating 9/10

just came back, must say sushant wonderful performance indeed!👍🏼

loved him in each and every scene.

movie is good, its not great, but good enough. don't know much about this dhoni, but what ever was presented, i enjoyed every bit of it.

i say go for it. 3.5/5
