Did Salman made the right call for interfering in state matters?

Was it Salman's time and place to enroll into controversy and come to the aid of Pakistani artists? Clearly the MNS were a patriotic bunch fighting for solidarity of the entire nation and engaging in protest to show their displeasure against the Pakistani government. Was it right for Salman to come to their defense while the other fraternity just condemned the attacks and steered clear of any bipartisan activities.

Did he not stepped onto the toes of others who were all banking on him? He doesn't find Pakistan responsible for those Mumbai attacks. He expresses sympathy for known terrorists. Doesn't want India tag name on his movies. Does it all not look suddenly bad on him while he has yet to condemn those attacks?

I don't have an opinion on Bhai interfering, but I do have an opinion on this thread. Unnecessary, when the other thread about the call to Mr.Thackery is there.

That's about him getting involved. Here I am asking if he made the right call by getting involved. This should have been coming from the Prime Minister or President. As those are elected leaders. To see them being silent on this issue while you let somebody with the worst track record like Salman who is known to have underworld connections interfere into state matters reflects poorly not just on Salman but the whole state of affairs.

Replace Salman with any other actor and chances are their houses will be pelted with stones by now.
