Unrequited love is something pretty much everyone encounters in their life. Is it romantic? Of course it is. Just that there is also heartbreak that accompanies it. Coming to this Delhi incident, such incidents are not just limited to ek tarfa pyaar. Some psychopaths exhibit such behaviour even during breakups.. but does that mean we should rethink about breakups being shown in BW? I don't think so..

We don't know the people involved and case details. But in my experience, many girls lead guys on OR insult them.
Not condoning such psychotic behaviour, but many guys can't handle that kind of humiliation or extract revenge when they feel USed.

Then again, there are schizophrenic wankers. What would you call Aamir's character in that Madhuri movie where he plays a deluded guy who thinks she's in love with him?

Yes, it is happening to me actually😆 I don't even know if I can term what I am feeling for that guy as "love" but I really like him a lot. (And I haven't told him for reasons that I myself don't know, but really, you should tell the person you love that you love him/her) See, if ever I get to know that what I am feeling is unrequited, I wouldn't do anything stupid or try to change myself to impress him or whatever, which many people do actually. If you really love a person who does not love you back, you should let him/her go, AND not remember him/her bitterly because that ain't bring you any good.
Loving somebody does not mean having that person for yourself. If you really love him/her, you'll be happy if he/she is happy (this sounds filmy but this is true). Obviously if he/she is seen flirting/being all friendly with other people, you may feel bad at start but you should remember that you deserve someone worthy of you, who will love you for who you are. In my case, he has recently gone to settle abroad and there are so many chances of him meeting up with other girls and stuff. If he is meant to be in my life, he will. But I am not going to wait and keep my status pending and be all Devdas. Regardless of whatever will happen in the future, he is always going to be a person that I will hold dear to me.
As I said above, you should tell the person you love that you love him/her. His/her reaction will clear your confusion and reveal if you are in love with the right person. And it is not a shame if your love is unrequited. You have loved, if the person misses out on you, his/her bad. And don't believe in that pyaar ek hi baar hota hai bullshit😆

Concerning that fellow who has stabbed the girl, I would term his feelings as sheer obsession and definitely not love. He is a serious mental case and needs psychological help.

From what I heard in the news she wasn't into him and wanted nothing to do with him. He was unapologetic about such premeditated cold blooded murder. Off course movies should always been taken with a grain of salt but it is true some individuals do try to emulate it. Hopefully ADHM steers clear of any kind of stalking or creepy behaviors.

I'm reminded of 1 incident. A gorgeous Indian friend around 20 who rented in a council estate was almost being stalked by this pimply ugly teenager. Like not regular but on and off whenever she was around the estate.
So one day this pale boy of around 16 turns up at her door all of a sudden and insists on entering. She had a pretty hard time brushing him off.

Then another time, he was pointing to his crotch and be like "don't you want this"? So the terrified girl pulled her wits together and says that she was too old for him and it was illegal and all. Luckily that put him off and probably he felt good about himself too.

Hormonal teens can be kind of psychotic too. So best to always keep your wits about you.

I understand what you are saying but I don't think what she could do humanely possible to merit such fate. Even if she insulted him yes she is wrong but doesn't have to pay with her life for that.
