In terms of acting tho, that's a diff discussion. She's a pretty weak actor :(

And I don't think she really had a choice between bwood or hwood. She got her big break in hwood and continued on there while india (i'm assuming bwood is a part of india) ridiculed her looks and lamented her fame. did she even get any bwood offers? Anyways, I think she's doing ok. She still does like a movie a year, that's pretty good for an outsider with no real connections in either industry.

i don't think everyone aspires to be a superstar like the khans or a much-loved actress. some people are just happy to be acting/ doing what they love.

I would say she is not Desi enough..like mentioned in some other thread..that rawness, latka jhatka, desipan needed in BW..

Like katrina is considered average in her home country and ravishing in India..its same for Frieda
