I don't think the general population even counts on YT views. Maybe the urban/metropolitan or international audience, but surely not the core Indian moviegoers.

I think the word of mouth and reviews will matter more. Somehow I feel as if Shivay will open bigger, but ADHM will fare better on the long run, provided it's got a good story and strong WOM; because editing/direction we already know Karan is good enough.

BBD showed that the general audience doesn't give two cares about YT likes and dislikes. KC was such a big hit on YT yet BBD was a total flop.

Pink is again showing that word of mouth matters! Look how well it is doing without any YT likes.

if ADHM has a good word of mouth it's going to do well. If not, well then Anu and Biru's jodi will be the most jinxed in history
