I agree he should never have given this quote and it is crazy for RR to try to get away with saying he didn't realize SRK had already laid claim to XMas 2018. But I think they are really reacting to SRK trying hard to force them to move Kaabil. When Bang Bang clashed with Haider and Mohenjo Daro clashed with Rustom, of course their were struggles over screens - there has to be- but if the Roshans ever attempted to force the other movie out of their release date I truly missed it.

How are they being "forced"? The most Shahrukh and Ritesh have probably done is ask them to shift and asking doesn't equate to forcing them to move it. At the end of the day it's their movie and they can release it when they want. This notion that just because your movie was coming out a certain date and Raees too now is releasing on the same date equates to Team Raees being unethical is ridiculous considering this ain't the first clash in the history of hindi cinema. Not to mention Kaabil makers announced their date knowing Baadshao was coming on the same date so I really don't get as to how suddenly "ethics" have come into the picture. And this coming from someone who has liked quite a bit of the work Hrithik has done which is why I hope both movies do well man.

Forced as in multiple meetings, multiple "articles" including ones completely reversing the truth (saying the Roshans picked date after SRK), etc. no one is holding a gun to their heads but their clearly is pressure. I personally think SRK is more than a big enough star to release his film against a struggling HRs quick low to mid budget film - not sure why he doesn't just embrace the clash and enjoy his (probable) victory.

Everyone and their brother knows Raees shifted from EID to republic day. And by everyone and their brother , I mean the folks who follow this stuff. The same folks also know that Kaabil makers along with the makers of Baadshao had already booked 26th Jan so I personally haven't seen a single article so far stating that the Roshans picked the date after Raees had shifted. But if there is indeed one like that out there then obviously people will know it ain't correct since those folks knows Raees was earlier supposed to release on EID. As for multiple meetings , what's wrong if there indeed have been multiple meetings. It's not like it has been some covert thing. The media was right there outside the Roshan's house when Shahrukh and Ritesh went to meet them , Shahrukh even tweeted about it. You are talking as of Rakesh Roshan is some novice who will just agree with whatever the makers of Raees are saying. The fact that the clash is happening obviously gives it away that both movies are coming on the said date despite multiple meetings. And why do you think Shahrukh is not embracing the clash? Just because he tried to talk it out with them? The fact that the Roshans announced the release date of Krrish 4 knowing fully well Anand's movie was coming out on Christmas 2018 and then backtracked on it as if they didn't know says a lot here. And then to take some superior moral ground over it as if the audience can't see through a tactic like that is ridiculous.

Don't underestimate Hrithik. He's a big enough star. Just like Shahrukh is. And I hope that both movies do well at the BO as both have had releases this year that haven't done that great at the BO so one would hope all their upcoming projects do well.

I really wish him luck as an actor. MD was a total debacle and a setback for him.He sounds like a lost puppy. Come on HR you can do it. Get a grip and Chak de duggu

Hrithik has truly lost it since his divorce. He seems and sounds like a lost puppy, hope he gets better guidance and PR. He needs to stop whining about everything and focus on work. Get a grip dude, you are so much more talented than all these people.
