I absolutely love this movie...I wish I had seen it in theater but didn't like Sonakshi then...I watched it later and was completely bowled over by both Sona and Ranveer...what a movie and what amazing performances by both of them...its sad that good movies like this one sometimes bite dust.

The last leaf is a beautiful beautiful book.. The movie does not capture half of its beauty.. But then movies seldom too

I loved Lootera. Like RR said, it's like reading a book. The characters evolve and mature before our very eyes. Not everything is black and white. There are shades of grey which I always love. Sonakshi looked beautiful & Ranveer carried his character well. Even the character artistes were exceptional.

its a book?I read it as some 10/11 page story in my english textbook.I did'nt know it was edited version

Yet to watch this movie but whenever I have caught the songs on TV..I am forcibly reminded of the 60's and 70's period movies - U know when one stolen look between the lovers would carry enough heat to burn down a forest...

There was an intensity here, a connection that was not in your face, the vibe that was pure and sensuous .. those scenes had soul and each frame spoke to you.. perhaps that's one reason y it gets talked about here..

Yam - Only one part of last leaf was taken for this movie and I felt that part wasn't executed well also. Did Sonakshi say that she'll die after last leaf falls?
If I remember correctly, that was different story . It didn't have artist coming and looting anyone.

I was active on this forums when this movie was more appreciated for Sonakshi's performance & Vikramaditya's direction. But with the time I've noticed how Ranveer's fandom increased. This is only overhyped by Ranveer fans now
